CBS-Asia, Then and Now

HISTORY OF CBS ASIA Since the arrival of CB missionaries in the late 1940’s, the CB church planting movement has steadily advanced. To date, CBAP has established more than 400 local churches and outreaches. However, without proper and effective training of leaders, this growth of the CB movement in the Philippines would not have been sustained. Ministerial training has always been an important component of the movement.

by Rev. Nicky JoyaAs we approach the return of the Master, we are to anticipate a rise in the proliferation of false teachings and teachers (Cf. 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Timothy 3:1-8). The beliefs these religious charlatans propagate bring about eternal destruction.
Grassroots-venue training for a grassroots ChristianityDo the math! Ten percent of the evangelical churches in the Philippines are led by pastors who have adequate ministerial/theological training. According to DAWN 2000, nowadays there are almost 60,000 evangelical churches in the country. Check out 10% of that. That’s how delicate the situation is.
