 “He never fails to speak to our hearts!” This is the sentiment of many who have attended Dr. Gene Wood’s seminars a number of times already. On February 10, Dr. Wood lead another seminar on the topic “Developing an Effective Leadership Team”. One hundred and eighty pastors and church leaders attended the CBS-Asia sponsored seminar at GCF-North in Quezon City. As in previous times, Dr. Wood spoke candidly about issues confronting pastor-board relationship- -a topic that often elicits an emotional response. Yet, his gentle, humorous and not to mention biblical way of addressing the subject, often drew an “amen!” from the audience. Expect to hear from this prolific teacher again. ____________ Last March 5-9, CBS-Asia Pastoral Ministries Program students were very honored to have Dr. Glen Johnson teach the subject, “Spiritual Leadership”. His wide pastoral and mentoring experience, not only in the United States but also as a missionary to Brazil make him wellqualified to teach the subject. Dr. Johnson comes with a B.A. (Political Science) from Stanford University, M.Div and Th.M. Degrees from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Education from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Dr. Johnson conducted seminars at RTCs in Calamba, Laguna and Dasmarinas, Cavite. ____________ Rev. Donald Furrow, returning guest professor will be teaching “Pastoral Epistles” on June 4-8 at the CBM Guesthouse, 50-B, Road 13, Pag-Asa, Quezon City. Fee is P 1,650.00.
